Robo-One J-Class 2006: Demonstration EventHumanoid robots performing autonomous routines in Japan 2006.  The 7th ROBO-ONE J-Class Competition took place in early August 2006 in Kawasaki, Japan. The first stage of the event requires a 2 minute autonomous "demonstration" by each contestant. The demonstrations are scored by a panel of expert judges, and only the top scoring robots are allowed to compete in the head to head battles in the ring.
