Robo-One 10: Championship Final Match

Ivre vs King Kizer, Sept 16-17th Nagai, Japan.

Two fearsome opponents battle it out in the final of the Remote Control category of the 10th Robo-One tournament, held in Nagai, Japan on September 16-17th 2006. The red robot is King Kizer, and the long-handed bot is Ivre. It does seem to end rather abruptly, they don't seem to have finished yet! Though it is without a doubt that King Kizer is the winner.

The boy controlling King Kizer (you can see him at the end) is using a rather hi-tech approach - he is wearing a harness that interprets the boy's upper body movements and then directly relays the movements to the robot! Amazing, the modified game controller controls the robots legs and other servos, must be great fun.
