KHR-1 Robot does Karate & more

Amazing demonstration of Kondo's humanoid kit robot.

The KHR-1 was released by Japanese company Kondo in 2004, it was the first of its kind - a digital servo driven kit robot commercially available to the public, albeit mostly in Japan & Korea. The KHR-1 had record breaking agility and the design was built upon by other companies with successive robots like Hitec's Robonova-1 & the Robotis Bioloid, also Kondo's own second generation robot, the KHR-2HV & KHR-1HV.

Kondo's high quality digital servo motors are known for their speed, accuracy and torque, as well as feedback to communicate their position to computer software, the servos are utilised perfectly in the KHR kit robots.
